I dedicate this site to my Mom, Norma Jean (Sargent) Brawner, for without her 
help and patience, I wouldn't have gotten this far. Some of the information on 
this site has documentation, some came from other researchers, and some came 
from stories and information passed down from generation to generation. 
Researching has became my hobbie and my passion. It has helped me to understand 
who I am. 

Our ancestors all struggled with hardships and their determination is the 
reason we are all here today. Our forefathers faught and worked the land to see 
that the next generations to come would live on to carry forth where they left 
off. In a sense, that is why I started this web page so when my children are 
ready to know their ancestors, the information will be available. But as with 
any researching, it is a continous project. I'm not only doing this for myself, 
but I'm doing it for Eugene, Justin, and Stephanie. I thank them for tolerating 
my excitement each time I'd found a new ancestor. Hopefully one day they will 
appreciate why I am doing this.....it's all for them.
